The Challenge

To effectively communicate dyne's brand identity, I focused on understanding its target audience, which led to the guiding concepts: friendly yet subtle, employing an authentic, contemporary tone that effortlessly connects with their vibrant lifestyle and aspirations.

My mission for Dyne, an app operating in Egypt and Dubai, was to bring the dining experience with "warmth and vibrancy," elevating how meals are enjoyed. By creating an inviting atmosphere, we aimed to transform dining into a delightful experience for both diners and restaurateurs.

01. Logo Concept

Balancing Warmth and Formality

The Dyne logo features a rounded font wordmark that captures the essence of the brand by striking a balance between friendliness and formality. It is a crucial element of our core brand identity. I focused on keywords like "approachable" and "friendly," aiming to evoke feelings of warmth and comfort while ensuring it remains recognizable for everyday use.

02. Brand Colors

Green is the way to go!

Green is a cool color that promotes a sense of calm and balance, which can enhance the overall brand experience for consumers seeking comfort and reliability. I chose the color green because it is a trendy color that appeals to younger audiences, evoking positivity and growth while creating a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

03. Accent Colors

Adding a Splash of Color

Accent colors are vibrant hues that adds depth and energy to the brand, enhancing the overall visual experience.

04. Graphic System

Framing Creativity

The logomark/favicon can be used as a frame to house photography. In addition, we incorporated the circle or hollow circle as a graphic element to serve as a frame layout for text, images.

05. Iconography & Illustrations

Clean Lines in Our Illustration Elements

Illustration elements are now more streamlined.

Utilize minimal, straight, and clean lines, avoiding overly hand-drawn illustrations and emojis.

06. Photographic style

Authentic Photography

The selected images showcase people enjoying themselves, emphasizing how their dining experience is enhanced by Dyne. The visuals are crisp and vibrant, ultimately contributing to a stronger brand presence.
